Woody

Warm, dry and enveloping — cedar, sandalwood, smoked wood. Woody scents feel like a library or an open hearth: they fill a room without pushing. Example: Lumière Douce (bergamot, cedar, sandalwood) and Feu de Bois (smoked wood, birch tar).

Amber

Soft, powdery and sensual — amber, musk, benzoin. Amber scents are the velvet evening scents: round, a touch sweet, made for the quiet hours. Example: Nuit Blanche (pink pepper, rose, amber, musk).

Fresh

Clear, light and airy — citrus, white tea, linen, rain. Fresh scents make a room feel larger and calmer; ideal for the morning or a small bathroom. Example: Matin Pâle (white tea, lemon, linen) and Eau de Toit (rain, wet stone).

Floral

Soft and alive — iris, mimosa, rose, wet petals. Floral scents are neither heavy nor old-fashioned when dosed well; they feel like a garden after rain. Example: Jardin Clos (wet petal, iris, mimosa, moss).

Gourmand
